For over 17 years I’ve been helping people navigate trauma, grief, stress, and the challenges that come with them. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable, relaxed, and understood.
I draw on a blend of trauma counselling, art therapy, and social work to support healing in ways that feel natural and accessible. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating — often, once the conversation begins, it flows with ease.
What matters most to me is making mental health support compassionate and available to everyone. Whether you’re seeking a space to talk, to process, or to rebuild resilience, I’m here to walk alongside you.
I have run my private practice for 5 years working with private and NDIS clients; in the past working in varying social work sectors such as, aboriginal health, homelessness, disability, complex mental health, drug and alcohol dependence and family and relationship violence.
Using a sensitive approach to talk therapy I have 17 years experience working with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds since becoming a counsellor.
I work with young adults to mature-aged clients with a vast spectrum of issues including:
Using art activities through a variety of colour and texture mediums;
Plus other holistic techniques whilst integrating counselling therapy approaches to support the clients emotional ability to process trauma, problems, events, family dynamics and other barriers. This approach can be helpful for those who find Talk therapy intimidating or challenging.
This relaxing massage is a holistic treatment from ancient indian medicine that uses warm, herbalised oils and rhythmic strokes to detoxify the body. Ayurvedic massage promotes relaxation, releasing built up tension, and stress within the body, focussing on supporting movement through reflex points and the lymphatic system to remove toxins.
This massage can enhance skin function and help restore your sense of balance within your physical, mental and emotional self, calming the nervous system, nourishing your body tissues and balancing your body's energy.
Numerology is the study of numbers using your birth name and date. Everybody’s numerology is different with its own unique nuance’s just as we are all individuals.
A numerology chart can give us great insight into ourselves, what energies we have brought into this world, ways to navigate this and how to empower yourself, bring in balance, insight into life patterns, past and future challenges, ways to access your strengths and understand yourself better.
The chart will also help you to navigate your current year number and see what may come into your life over the next 12 months giving you insight and the ability to use the numbers to your advantage.
I've had experience working for schools teaching mindfulness from ages 4 to 13 year olds, adults and group settings for women and men. Learn how to live mindfully and in the present moment through a mindfulness approach. I can teach you a variety of techniques available to find the one suitable for your individual needs and integrate it into your everyday life.
Mindfulness can be a positive and easily applied way to manage medium level stress, anxiety, low mood, negativity, cyclic thoughts, increasing your positive outlook.

Within my role as a Support Coordinator, it is my job to provide choices and recommendations of service providers that have the capability to engage with and build meaningful professional relationships with my clients. I seek out providers who allow my clients to feel comfortable and at ease, enabling them to work through varying levels of struggle and trauma they have encountered throughout their lives. Megan is one such provider.
Through working with Megan, I have found her capacity-building level capabilities exceptional. Her professionalism to ensure that she is the right ‘fit’ to provide support for any referral that I have given her has been outstanding. She has always provided safe and reassuring support to all my clients, which I value so highly as a Support Coordinator. Megan is always thoughtful, kind, and client-focused — making her one of the best I have had the privilege of working with. Thank you, Megan.”
I have used Megan for occasional counselling over the previous five years or so, usually when I feel I need support from a neutral and objective person. Megan has made herself available both face-to-face and over the phone, which has been convenient at times, and I have been able to access her services in a timely manner.
During our conversations, Megan has suggested tools and strategies to use independently over time in my everyday life. She has a range of skills and both work and life experience to understand the nuance of life’s challenges, and her approach is deeply compassionate.
Megan is open and honest in her approach and gives you goals to achieve. She is also sensitive and understanding. She comes to my house and she’s more like a friend than a counsellor.
As a 70-year-old vision-impaired person, I would highly recommend Megan. All the verbal cues and ability to follow Megan’s guidance — I highly promote. It’s improved my life tenfold. Thanks for making counselling accessible to me.
Since starting my counselling sessions with Megan in June 2022, I have found her to be very approachable and supportive. She has been a great listener and given me advice that I’ve then been able to act on to support my life experiences.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be.
